UCAS
We are proud that every year a significant number of our Year 13 students go on to Further Education. In 2022 it was 92% and in 2023 73% - well above the national average. Our students join a range of colleges and universities across the country to study an array of courses, many staying local, some going to all corners of the British Isles and some going as far afield as the USA and mainland Europe. This year we have had students go to study: Medicine, Law, Criminology, Nursing, Computer Science, Accounting and Finance, Illustration, History & Politics, Pharmacy, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Science, Quantity Surveying, Sport & Exercise Therapy and Veterinary Nursing amongst many others.
Our Director of Post-16, Mrs Griffiths brings her twelve years of experience to leading the UCAS application process.
We are proud that we know each of our students well and have the facilities to address their individual needs. All students, regardless of their choice of course, college or university are offered support from their Personal Tutor, Head of Year and our independent Careers Advisor.
