In the Creative Arts and Technology Faculty at St. Edmund Campion Catholic School, we create a nurturing and caring environment where the individual talents of our students and their ideas are brought to life. We want students to think about what nourishes their mind by drawing on personal experiences, learning from the world around them, whilst showing respect and an appreciation for cultural diversity and traditions. We want students to eat what nourishes their body by understanding the importance of a healthy and balanced diet. And we want our students to do what nourishes their soul by embracing the broad range of therapeutic practical activities that our subjects offer. We teach a range of technical skills and techniques alongside subject specific theories. There is also the opportunity for students to think about why the Creative Arts and Technology subjects are important and how they have a positive impact in industry and society. We aim to ensure that our students become confident practitioners who can develop and cultivate their own ideas while ensuring that their minds, bodies and souls are looked after.
